A new chapter in the heart of the city
In the heart of the Białystok Barracks, a new place run by the Lena Grochowska Foundation will be created. The historic building will be transformed into a meeting place with a café, bakery, and ceramic workshop. The facility, like other branches of the foundation, will create jobs for people with intellectual disabilities, combining the revitalization of a historic space with the professional activation of people in need of support.
ㅤ
A mission ongoing since 2014
The foundation was established on the initiative of Lena and Władysław Grochowski to provide real help to people in difficult life situations – with disabilities, in homelessness crisis, refugees and repatriates. The foundation's mission is simple: to help live normally.
ㅤ
Work that provides independence
The foundation employs nearly 100 people with disabilities in ceramic workshops, bakeries, and social cafés "toMy" (Siedlce, Warsaw, Łochów, Gdańsk). Handmade products can be purchased at the hotel reception and on kupujeszpomagasz.pl.
ㅤ
Creativity that unites
In Białystok, as in other branches, there will be workshops on ceramics, painting, and baking conducted together with people with disabilities – open to both individual participants and companies looking for an original form of team integration.
ㅤ
Value that matters
Involvement in the Białystok Barracks project is a strategic business decision with real ESG and CSR value – it supports the creation of jobs for people with disabilities and the revitalization of urban space, building a credible image of a socially responsible company.
ㅤ
More than just support
Companies supporting the investment become part of a real change – it’s an opportunity for team-building workshops, unique handcrafted products, and meetings with people rediscovering their potential.
